Consultation
We will meet with
you to explain about the Web, about us and our services,
and answer any questions of yours. We will also ask you
about your business, product range, markets, competition,
corporate image, etc., and help you focus on desired objectives
for your new Web site.
We will then supply
you with a written quotation and specification, and upon
your acceptance we will commence its design and construction.
Design
We will work on ideas for your basic Web
site design. The pages should be instantly recognisable
as belonging to your company. We will make full use of
your established corporate ID and colours as the basis
for a harmonised, attractive and consistent page layout.
We will post initial
pages to our own Web site, and e-mail you with the URL
(address). Once the design is agreed we will proceed with
construction, and upload pages to our site as they are
completed, and make further adjustments as required.
If you are needing
a hosting service for your site, anywhere in the world,
this can be arranged at the same time. Once the site is
finalized and approved, it will be uploaded to your own
domain. To optimize search engine placement, we strongly
recommend that you invest in your own domain name, and
do not use a portal service for your site hosting.
Promotion
Having an operational Web site is the initial
objective, but of equal importance is the ability of potential
customers to find you. Part of our design brief will be
to make your site "search
engine ready". This includes provision of appropriate
description & keyword META tags, and optimization
of your text to best comply with the site indexing criteria
of the various engines.
As soon as your
site is live, we will promote it to all the major search
engines and directory services, and to the best of the
rest, amounting to a further 100 or so. We will also submit
your address to local, trade or other specialised Internet
directories as appropriate, and assist you in linking
to appropriate other sites on the Web. .
Operational Web
sites require on-going care and attention. Without this
they will tend to slowly fade away. There will always
be details to update, presentations to change and additions
to make. There is also a lasting requirement for performance
monitoring to retain search engine rankings. All these
aspects will be included in the scope of our initial specification.
